Today I tried to do a traditional swiss dish. I could have done a nice cheesefondue. But in the end i decided to do a bread called “Zopf“. Its a similar bread as the jewish “Challah“, but with a harder crust. Swiss people normally eat it only on sundays. Its very good with jam, honey, nutella and all kinds of chocolate.
BUT ITS NOT EASY TO MAKE. HAHA.
Zopf.
Die Hefe mit einem Teelöffel Zucker verrühren
und flüssig werden lassen.
Die Butter schmelzen.
Das Salz in der Milch auflösen und handwarm dazugeben.
Das Ei darin verrühren.
